The Logistics Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s air and sea freight operations, ensuring smooth and timely movement of shipments from global suppliers. The role requires strong expertise in customs inspections, HS codes, and coordination with freight and clearing agents.Oversee end-to-end logistics for international air and sea shipmentsCoordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents to ensure timely deliveriesHandle all documentation and communication related to customs clearance and inspectionsAccurately classify products using HS codes and ensure compliance with UAE customs regulationsTrack and monitor all incoming shipments to avoid delays and ensure cold chain integrityManage and maintain shipping documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, COO, etc.)Liaise with internal teams – procurement, warehouse, compliance – for smooth coordinationIdentify and implement cost-saving opportunities across logistics operationsMaintain strong relationships with Dubai Customs and regulatory authoritiesEnsure logistics operations remain HSE compliant and aligned with best practices Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field10-12 years of relevant experience in logistics, with solid exposure to air and sea freightIn-depth knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, Dubai Customs portal, and inspection protocolsExperience in perishable goods or fresh produce essentialExcellent communication, coordination, and documentation skillsProficiency in ERP and logistics tracking systemsAbility to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet tight deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
