Job Title: Data Engineer – Ounass (Dubai Based)

We’re looking for a mid-level Data Engineer (2–3 years of experience) to help make our data easy to use, reliable, and high-quality. You’ll build and manage data pipelines, run tests to ensure accuracy, and help the team get valuable insights from raw data.

This is an onsite hybrid role based in Dubai. Remote work is not available for this position.

What You’ll Do

• Own and manage end-to-end data pipelines (ETL)

• Improve data processes and reduce bugs in production

• Build reliable systems for checking and validating data quality

• Connect and pull in data from various new sources

• Troubleshoot production issues and fix root causes

• Work closely with teams to understand challenges and suggest data-driven solutions

• Monitor how well data models perform and make them better

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a startup or fast-paced tech company

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field

• Strong Python and SQL skills for working with large datasets

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP

• Knowledge of data warehouses and structured data

• Basic experience with tools like Docker and Airflow is a bonus

• Good at learning new tools and technologies

• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical

• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle complex projects
