Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and organization of our warehouse operations, ultimately contributing to the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
• Receive and process incoming orders from clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Conduct quality checks on received merchandise, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate team members
• Safely and accurately load and unload trucks while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including performing regular inventory counts and conducting stock rotation
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to improve warehouse processes and procedures
• Assist in the preparation of orders for shipping, including packaging and labeling
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and warehouse activities
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards
• Continuously strive for improvement and efficiency in warehouse operations
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient computer skills, including experience working with inventory management systems
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
