Job description
We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. This is an independent contractor position, M-F, 8hours/day. Warehouse associate will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling information.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
• Schedule distribution of goods, prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
• Load and unload skids
• Route goods to appropriate storage areas
• Pack goods to be shipped/Unpack goods received
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
• Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
• Preparing orders for shipment.
• Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
• Organizing the warehouse space.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
• A high school diploma.
• Ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to lift 25-30lbs
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to follow instructions and be a good team player
• Hard working, organized and detail-oriented.
Hours of operation: 9:30-5:00pm/10:00-6:00pm
