Job Title: Vice President – Cabin Technical and Reconfigurations

Job Purpose
This leadership role focuses on managing the planning and execution of cabin refurbishments, upgrades, and reconfigurations. You will lead teams, manage supplier contracts, and ensure all projects meet safety, design, and performance standards—while enhancing the customer experience.
What You’ll Do

Lead the Cabin Technical and Reconfiguration teams to ensure cabin quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Oversee technical reviews of airworthiness data from aviation authorities and manufacturers.

Manage supplier selection and procurement for cabin upgrades and IFEC (in-flight entertainment and connectivity) systems.

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver upgrade projects with minimal disruption.

Work with suppliers on new cabin and IFEC technologies to improve reliability and comfort.

Streamline internal change request processes for cabin modifications.

Evaluate new aircraft specifications and make sure they reflect past learnings.

Ensure compliance with aircraft design regulations and support ongoing maintenance programs.

Build and support a skilled, motivated engineering team—especially focusing on developing UAE Nationals.
Who You Are
-
Hold a degree in aviation or aerospace engineering (or related field)

Have 12+ years of experience in airline engineering or maintenance

At least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a major airline

Strong background in cabin systems, design, and project execution

Confident managing cross-functional teams and working with global suppliers

Skilled in strategic planning and stakeholder coordination
