Responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of transport logistics related to road and infrastructure construction projects. This includes ensuring the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and personnel, compliance with UAE transport regulations, and supporting site operations through accurate record-keeping and scheduling. Key Responsibilities:Transport Coordination:Plan and coordinate transportation schedules for delivery of construction materials and heavy equipment to and from project sites.Liaise with drivers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure timely transport operations.Monitor daily transport activities and resolve delays or issues.Fleet & Vehicle Management:Maintain accurate records of company-owned and rented vehicles including registration, maintenance, fuel consumption, and usage logs.Schedule routine inspections and maintenance of vehicles to comply with safety and RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) regulations.Ensure all vehicle documentation (insurance, registration, permits) is up-to-date.Compliance & Safety:Ensure all transportation activities comply with UAE traffic laws, safety regulations, and site-specific safety standards.Maintain records of driver licenses, certifications, and training in coordination with the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) team.Monitor driver behavior and ensure adherence to safe driving practices.Administration & Reporting:Prepare transport reports, logs, and documentation for internal and external audits.Use ERP or transport management systems to log, track, and report on transport activities.Support procurement and logistics teams with transport-related documentation and coordination.Communication & Coordination:Act as the point of contact between the transport team and other departments (e.g., procurement, site management, logistics).Manage communication with local authorities for permits, route approvals, and compliance-related matters. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.2–5 years of experience in transport/logistics administration, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.Familiarity with UAE transport regulations and RTA standards.Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Fleetio). Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.2–5 years of experience in transport/logistics administration, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.Familiarity with UAE transport regulations and RTA standards.Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems
