The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various aspects of tourism, hospitality management, and customer service. This role requires both theoretical knowledge and practical insights into the industry, with a focus on preparing students for careers in hospitality, travel management, and tourism. Key Responsibilities Instruct students on topics such as customer service, hotel management, travel planning, and event management. Create engaging lesson plans that blend theoretical knowledge with real-world applications in tourism and hospitality. Supervise and guide students through field trips, industry visits, and hands-on experiences. Stay updated with the latest trends in the tourism and hospitality industry, integrating them into lessons. Evaluate students through tests, projects, and practical activities, providing constructive feedback. Prepare students for careers in tourism and hospitality through career advice and guidance on industry certifications. Encourage teamwork and group projects to build interpersonal and communication skills. Ensure students follow health, safety, and professional standards in practical sessions. Teach students about global tourism trends and cultural awareness. Work closely with other faculty members to integrate tourism and hospitality concepts across the curriculum. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching license. Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching tourism and hospitality or a related subject. Proficiency in hospitality management software and tools. Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage). Desired Attributes Passion for tourism and hospitality education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and the broader hospitality industry. Ability to design engaging lessons that integrate practical experience with academic theory. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
