• *Key Result Responsibilities**
– Ensures that the training programs are delivered in compliance with the approved curriculum and T3 Aviation Academy training and operations manuals.
– Maintains and updates training materials, lesson plans and syllabi as required by the line
 manager.
– Stay updated on the latest aviation regulations and developments to adapt teaching methods and materials as needed.
– Ensuring all tasks are completed within the agreed period.
– Collaborates with the line manager to ensure optimum utilization of the training aids and facilities, and to ensure course consistency and quality are maintained.
– Mentors and supports students throughout their training to ensure they have a clear understanding and knowledge of the courses delivered.
– Maintains an accurate and updated record of student attendance for all classes, ensuring each student has been accounted for.
– Coordinates with the line manager to contribute to the development of the curriculum & new/existing training programs and regarding recommendations of necessary corrective training.
– Key Result Responsibilities – Continued
– Ensures that confidentiality and security of all GCAA and Academy examination papers is maintained.
– Acts as a role model for standards of professionalism, discipline, deportment, and appearance to all students; Enforces the highest standards of discipline and deportment of students.
– Ensures all personal approvals and documentation required for position are kept up to date.
– Maintains the Theoretical Knowledge Instructors office and classrooms as a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, reporting any maintenance requirements.
– Identifies and reports any safety-related incident, regardless of the severity, to the appropriate manager.
– Promotes the safety policy to all staff and demonstrating commitment to it continuously.
– Maintain a positive and professional learning environment in the classroom.
– Performs any additional duties as directed by the line manager.
• *Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)**
– Minimum bachelor’s in aviation/education or related field; High school diploma or equivalent.
– Completed a course of training in instructional techniques; Train the trainer certificate.
– Previous experience of instructing ATPL theory at a GCAA approved pilot training organization is preferred.
• *Work Experience**
– 5+ years of experience as an instructor, handling similar tasks.
– Practical background in aviation in the areas relevant for the training provided.
– In-depth knowledge of the aviation industry.
– Strong knowledge of GCAA safety policies.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office.
– Software knowledge: FlightLogger (Flight Training Management software).
