Tennis Coach

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Tennis Coach to deliver high-quality coaching programs to adults and children of all abilities.

The successful candidate will have the following key objectives:

• To provide personal and social development for lifetime skills
• To develop and improve technical and physical tennis skills
• To create a fun and enjoyable environment
• To help young people achieve their goals

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tennis coaching for daily and weekly group lessons
• Coach for tennis camps during school holidays, if requested
• Plan and prepare tennis lessons at the appropriate level
• Identify participants’ tennis abilities
• Advertise Advantage Sports Services’ tennis programs
• Ensure safety standards are followed in all sessions
• Provide explanations and demonstrate tennis techniques
• Set ground rules before each lesson
• Correct tennis technique faults and suggest improvements
• Evaluate lessons and give feedback to parents/students

Requirements:

• Interest and ability in tennis
• Good spoken English communication skills
• Ability to inspire confidence and motivate tennis players
• Perseverance and patience
• Ability to encourage people and put them at ease

Qualifications:

• LTA, PTR, USPTA, RPT, ITF, or FIT certification

Working Hours: Minimum 6 days per week, 40 hours total (36 hours on court, 4 hours administration)

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating the top Tennis Academy in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
• Ensure all tennis lessons meet the highest standards
• Promote Advantage Sports sponsorship brands
• Act as a point of contact between clients and the Managing Director
• Locate and set up new projects
• Increase revenue for the tennis section
• Liaise with Tennis Emirates to improve programs and standards
