Job Purpose:Execute Mechanical Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs Works for the NGLE, under TL Maintenance (Shift A, B) – Generic scope, acting as Technical Service provider of maintenance and execution of minor projects, modifications in accordance with the technical standards to maintain the assets through: (1) Leading the Maintenance Mechanical services on planned / un-planned maintenance works utilizing best practice. (2) Coordination and supervision of assets, products, and maintenance work in the designated area, (3) Implement plans and coordinate Mechanical maintenance works; in order to ensure plant equipment availability, reliability & optimization of cost / resources while facilitating smooth operations of the plant to meet operational targets.The position will act in accordance with the Group s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines, and international standards, supported by an IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani s government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives.Main Tasks and Responsibilities:Mechanical Maintenance:• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults, malfunctions, and issues, and take corrective actions to resolve them promptly.• Conduct testing and diagnostic procedures to assess the performance of mechanical components and systems.• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to schedule and execute mechanical maintenance activities.• Ensure application of best work practices in execution of mechanical maintenance jobs.• Implements the Preventive Maintenance (PM) plan within his section and execution along with work backlogs.• Monitors Corrective Maintenance (CM) work orders in SAP and carries out trouble shooting for problem resolution.• Prepare spare parts utilization reports and provide to Sr. Engineer for ensuring availability.• Responsible for issuing Work Permits on mechanical side and implementing Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure.• Ensure PM and CM work orders are closed promptly, and equipment maintenance history & reports are updated in SAP (CMMS)• Identify the critical issues, repetitive failure of equipment , done and the RCA Recommendations implemented for the area• full technical & manpower support during plants shutdown.• Reviews warehouse materials/spare parts and determines strategy of their handling and procurement and ensures availability.• Coordinates efforts within the Section to develop guidelines, specifications, best practices, and procedures for maintenance• Maintains technical expertise in functional areas.Static Equipment:• Manages the task distribution within the team, for performing planned / unplanned / shutdowns, turnarounds etc. of Static Equipment including tanks, vessels, furnaces, heat exchangers, valves piping, painting, Insulation, and scaffolding• Provides commissioning support for Major /Minor Projects.• Develop and review repair procedures and checklists for static equipment.in accordance with the technical standards set by TSD to maintain the designated area Static equipment s.• Close coordination with Operations and central maintenance teams for routine works and troubleshooting of static equipment.• Lead the team in the Safe and Efficient delivery of the Refinery Maintenance Execution Plans for static equipment s.• Attend internal meeting (Operation, TSD, Planning & other department involves in planned Static maintenance activities) to discuss and proactively resolve issues.• Conduct engineering studies and assessments when required, for troubleshooting static equipment issues.• Provide inputs for development of maintenance contracts & its administration, technical evaluation on RFQ, control and availability of resources.• Provide maintenance support in general or by on-call or shift coverage for Static equipment s.• Manage planned material and spare withdrawals from inventory and return of unutilized items.• Perform proper utilization of processes in SAP (notification and work order updates, breakdown notifications, failure reporting etc.) as per procedures.• Participate in major equipment trips and failure investigations Root Cause Analyses (RCA).• Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA).• Develop a well-defined back-up plan, such as organizing maintenance staff during on-call & emergency maintenance works in plant during silence hours / off duty.• Ensure maximum availability of plant Static assets and Scaffolding optimization through optimum use of resources in order to meet plant targets.• Develops and ensures execution of Training Program for the development of young engineers.• Develop & implement solutions to maintenance process & activities ensuring risk of failures are fully detected, understood, and mitigated.• Ensure that effective execution of planned maintenance activities /services are conducted & completed in accordance with maintenance best practice and within period.Rotary Equipment:
