Job TitleTechnical SupervisorBusinessVehicle Testing & RegistrationJob PurposeTechnical Supervisor has the overall responsibility for all vehicle testing operations in the test lanes. He is also responsible for the performance of the technical inspectors and drivers and the effectiveness of the maintenance programs in the test bays.Principal AccountabilitiesResponsible for computerized vehicle testing, inspection of vehicles and Technical Inspectors performance in all test lanes at his site.In case of shortage of Technical Inspectors at the test bays, he should also work as a Technical Inspector and conduct tests as well as comprehensive tests.Responsible for all maintenance programmes.Manages the effectiveness of assigned staff by providing leadership, building an effective team, setting standards of performance and monitoring results.Additional Principal AccountabilitiesExperienceDiploma in automobile engineering (or similar recognised qualification).At least 5 years experience at a similar position in a large professionally managed workshop of which at least 2 years have been in a supervisoryGood communication skills (Arabic & English).Staff Management skills.Good computer skills.
