Role Purpose:
Responsible for a wide range of tasked including, but not limited to: loading, unloading, sorting. Staging and transporting products, into and out of factory or Branch location physically and through the system. Following company safety and quality policies and procedures is of great importance to this position.
Key Accountabilities:
Receiving Goods: Receive goods from Production/Factory Accounts physically and through the system. And arrangement of stocks in designated location in storage area.
Unloading activities: Lead and support to helpers for unloading vehicle, ensuring they are zoned and segregate according to established procedures.
Loading activities: Lead and support to order pick, load and ship the goods in containers / Trailers and company delivery fleets based on the instruction of Distribution officers and store officers/ superiors. And present the loading and unloading reports to said officers.
Issues: Receive work orders/ Invoices and prepare batches for issue to end users ensuring compliance with approved needs.
Damaged Goods: Bring to notice of any damaged goods in FG/RM. And to take appropriate corrective action.
Stock counting: Participate in regular and ad hoc stock taking within the specific interval and report any discrepancy been noticed.
Reports: Complete daily work check list in order to enable supervisor to monitor work progress.
Equipment: Ensure all handling equipment (Reach trucks/ Trolley/ Pallets/ Cages) and tools are maintained properly and keep records of the same.
Training: Train helpers for proper handling of goods during Loading/Unloading and use of handling equipments.
Ensure works are carried out under safe and clean atmosphere so as to ensure the health and safety of the people around.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge:
– Successfully completed bachelor’s degree
– No previous experience required for these entry-level positions, preferred to have 2-4 years in warehousing operating in FMCG
– Beginner-level written and spoken English language skills – Level 3
– Preferred to have MS software experience and WMS
– Willingness to learn.
– Ability to work as part of a team.
