What Does a Sustainability Communications Manager Do?- Develop and execute the global sustainability communications plan with measurable KPIs- Create internal awareness campaigns to support adoption of sustainability practices and tools- Produce and manage content such as newsletters, blogs, best practice guides, and white papers- Oversee the sustainability sections on company intranet and public websites, ensuring frequent updates and consistency across global regions- Coordinate executive speaking opportunities and sustainability-related engagements at high-level events- Act as the key liaison for external agencies producing sustainability content and branding materials- Manage and maintain a global sustainability image bank and creative assets- Lead communications for the DP World Sustainability Academy and support the internal champions community- Ensure alignment with group communications and branding teams across all platforms and campaigns- Drive innovation in engagement methods and support thought leadership developmentWhat Are the Key Responsibilities?- Deliver clear and impactful messaging around DP World s sustainability efforts- Provide guidance to regions and departments on sustainability communications- Lead global content strategies for digital and offline platforms- Monitor the effectiveness of sustainability outreach and continuously improve approach- Support external partnerships with communication strategies and materials- Create a sense of community and shared purpose among internal sustainability advocatesWhat Skills Are Needed for a Communications Manager in Sustainability?Education:- Bachelor s degree in Business, Management, Communications, or a related fieldExperience:- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability or corporate communications- Experience developing white papers and thought leadership content on sustainability topicsTechnical Skills:- Excellent writing, editorial, and presentation skills- Familiarity with communication platforms, content management systems, and branding processes- Additional language skills such as Arabic, French, Mandarin, Hindi, or Urdu are a plusSoft Skills:- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills- Ability to manage global projects across teams and time zones- Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive communicator- Passionate about sustainability and corporate responsibilit
