Job Title: Storekeeper Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Storekeeper Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the site store, including the receipt, storage, issuance, and control of materials, tools, and equipment. They ensure accurate inventory records, prevent material wastage, and support smooth construction operations by coordinating closely with the procurement and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage all store activities at the construction site.
• Receive incoming materials, tools, and equipment, and inspect for quantity and quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions (in/out), stock levels, and issuance logs.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor material consumption at site and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
• Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile with system records.
• Implement and enforce safety, housekeeping, and security procedures in the store.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Supervise storekeepers and helpers, assign tasks, and ensure timely execution.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and procurement to ensure timely material availability.
• Manage the return of excess, unused, or damaged materials as per company procedures.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Vocational training or certifications in warehouse/store management are a plus.
Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a storekeeper, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and site operations.
Skills:
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, inventory software, or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Basic knowledge of safety standards related to storage and handling.
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Traits:

• Familiarity with local regulations regarding storage and transport of materials.
