Spanish Teacher part time (Sharjah)

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Spanish Language Teacher to join our language institute in Sharjah on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and will be able to engage students of varying age groups and language proficiency levels.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver interactive and effective Spanish lessons based on the institute’s curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ individual learning needs.
• Provide clear explanations of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Prepare classroom materials and activities to support lesson objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Certification in teaching Spanish as a foreign language (e.g., ELE, DELE, or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
• Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to teach in-person classes in Sharjah on an hourly basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CEFR levels (A1–C1).
• Ability to use digital tools and online platforms for teaching, if needed.
• Knowledge of Arabic is a plus, but not required.

Working Conditions:
• Hourly-based compensation.
• Flexible schedule based on student demand and class timing.
• Classes may be held on weekdays and/or weekends.
