DESI BAR AND GRILL – SERVER

1. Who we Are:
• Desi Bar & Grill is a high-energy Indian fusion restaurant and bar, offering a modern take on classic dishes alongside creative cocktails and upbeat music. We’re known for our vibrant atmosphere, bold flavours, and top-notch service. We’re looking for charismatic, professional servers to elevate our guest experience.

• If you love food, drinks, and fast-paced service with personality, we want you on our team. Ideal candidates are confident, knowledgeable, and friendly, with a genuine passion for customer service and Indian cuisine.

3. Job Location:
• Malton Branch, Mississauga, ON

4. Job Type:
• Full-Time/Part-Time | Weekends Required | Evening Shifts

5. Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and seat guests in a warm and engaging manner
• Provide in-depth knowledge of menu items, including Indian fusion specialties and cocktails
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver efficiently
• Upsell daily specials and drink pairings
• Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and responsive service
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow
• Maintain clean dining areas and adhere to safety standards

6. Requirements & Certifications:
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Previous serving experience in a restaurant or bar setting (1+ year preferred)
• Smart Serve Certification (required)
• Food Handler Certification (required)
• Knowledge of Indian cuisine or willingness to learn
• Strong communication, multitasking, and sales skills
• Flexibility to work evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays
• Fluency in English; Punjabi or Hindi is a plus
