We are seeking a highly motivated SME Banking Relationship Manager to support the growth and management of liability products, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient account opening, and revenue generation. The role involves managing customer relationships, meeting sales targets, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Customer Coordination & Support: Work closely with customers, Sales, and Customer Service teams to provide exceptional support and service.Account Opening: Open a minimum of 8 non-borrowing accounts per month, ensuring adherence to NBF’s compliance and risk policies.Revenue Generation: Achieve liability, forex, and operating income targets from new bookings and grow the conventional and Islamic deposits, as well as CASA balances.Product Knowledge & Cross-Selling: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of NBF’s liability products and offerings, including cash management. Cross-sell FX to potential customers and refer them to the Treasury Department.Customer Grievances: Effectively manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.Due Diligence: Assist in obtaining required documentation from clients to meet due diligence requirements, ensuring that only suitable accounts are onboarded based on the bank’s risk appetite.Market Awareness & Feedback: Stay informed about competitor products and provide constructive feedback on NBF’s product offerings, processes, and services.Operational Excellence: Ensure accuracy in filling out account opening applications, collecting valid documents, and adhering to KYC/AML guidelines.Team Collaboration: Support colleagues with on-the-job training and share valuable insights to improve team performance.Reporting & Compliance: Prepare daily reports and ensure compliance with bank policies, maintaining accurate records and reviewing CPV reports with the Relationship Manager.Safeguard Reputation: Protect NBF’s reputation by meeting service expectations and avoiding overcommitting or under-delivering.Job Context:The role focuses on opening profitable non-borrowing accounts, growing the institutional liability base, and sourcing deposits and CASA balances, all while ensuring compliance with NBF’s risk and compliance policies.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Experience and Skills:Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in SME banking and liability sales.Technical Competencies:Relationship Management (CIBG): BasicService Excellence (CIBG): ProficientProduct Knowledge (CIBG): BasicFinancial Analysis (CIBG): BasicGovernance, Compliance, and Audit (CIBG): Basic
