Support and lead the development of strategic Events & CSR initiatives, promote ADX’s visibility to its business, productsor corporate announcements, and enhance its reputation with its external stakeholders, to help support its corporateimage and business growthStrategic Contribution▪ Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into operating plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontalintegration with other interfacing departmental strategies.People Management▪ Manage the effective achievement of assigned objectives through the leadership of the department by settingindividual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff to maximize sectional performance.▪ Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigneddepartment to foster a value driven culture within the organization.Event Management▪ Assist in the planning of events and organize, manage, and deliver all events including but not limitedto external events, conferences, forums, summits, internal etc. according to executive instructionsto ensure effective execution in line with plans, standards, and objectives.▪ Manage events preparations and coordinate all event logistics, including planning timetables, bookingvenues, supervising contractors, and third-party suppliers such as exhibition layout and advertisingdesigners stand suppliers, audio-visual production companies and caterers hospitality ensuring deliveryof the proper company brand image and that guests are extended all due courtesies and respect.▪ Prepare Post event assessment templates and surveys.▪ Work with the social media team to explore ways to leverage the usage of digital media throughidentifying suitable platforms and developing attractive content with regards to events to ensureconveying the right message.▪ Develop, manage, and maintain professional relations with business partners, suppliers, contractors,agencies, clubs, etc. with respect to Events Management activities.Support in the development of the CSR strategy, goals, and objectives in line with brand and overallgroup guidelines.▪ Assist in translating CSR strategy into measurable initiatives and activities spread over the year.▪ Develop and maintain the CSR calendar containing information about the planned activities throughoutthe year.▪ Assist in screening of proposals from various social welfare organizations, NGOs, charitable institutionsetc. including reviewing their proposal and ensuring it is aligned with company objectives and values,validating their past records and performance, developing a case for support/ funding etc. for approvalby the management.▪ Monitor the effectiveness of all CSR activities; identify areas for improvement and recommend changesas needed in-order to ensure consistency and effective and successful implementation of CSR initiatives.▪ Collaborate with public relations, media, and communications teams to ensure the accuraterepresentation of the corporate image with the external public with respect to CSR initiatives. Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, business management, or any other related field.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in General Services and Administration with at least 4 years’ experience withgrowing supervisory accountability in roles within similar operations.
