What Your Day May Look Like
• Greet customers and client employees.
• Ask valued customers for receipts.
• Conduct internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrance / exits, and customers, provide guidance as needed and assist Asset Protection with information gathering.
• Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employee’s, and management know their needs are being met.
• Present a good image to the client, client employee’s and customers.
• Operate in a calm manner and direct persons who cause disruption to leave property.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Act to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements
• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must understands the nature of customer service, and interactions with the public.
• Must have Day / Swing shift availability.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with and greet customers in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and computers, camera monitoring, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, drivers, general public, co-workers, Asset Protection, and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client employees and Office Management.
• Must be able to stand for majority of shift, take 15-minute breaks, and adhere to lunch period.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Mut be able to work in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and professional, and check customer receipts.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person, over the phone, and via radio.
• Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License, and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain Pueblo Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
• Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus.
