Who Are We
Go-Ahead London is the capital’s largest bus operator, employing over 8,000 colleagues across 17 garages and Head Office, mostly in South East, South West, North East and East London. We are an award-winning company with a well-regarded industry reputation and most of our colleagues are professional Bus Drivers, and we run a quarter of London’s iconic red bus network on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) using 2,450 vehicles.
Our Recruitment & Training department provides a key support role for our operational locations in ensuring that we recruit and train sufficient drivers to maintain our services to the highest possible standard.

We Are Looking To Recruit An Experienced Receptionist To Job Share a Role At Our Busy Recruitment & Training Academy In Camberwell. The Main Responsibility Of The Role Would Be Providing a Friendly And Professional Welcome To All Visitors To The Academy. See a List Of Additional Responsibilities Below, But Not Exhaustive:
• Greeting and registering all visitors who arrive at the Academy and work with colleagues to ensure the efficient management of our visitors and colleagues when arriving for training courses and recruitment events.
• Answering telephone enquiries at reception efficiently and politely and managing recruitments shared mailbox.
• Ensuring visitors are aware of H&S emergency procedures within the building and whilst on site.
• Dealing with all incoming and outgoing post both internal and external.
• Ensuring that the reception area and lobby are always clean and tidy.
Qualifications
The successful applicants must be able to communicate effectively, be computer literate and have a smart professional manner. We are looking for two individuals who can work well without close supervision.
Previous experience of reception duties or a role where you were frequently dealing with people face to face is desirable. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 07:00 to 11:45 or 11:45 to 16:30; the successful applicant will need to have a flexible approach to start and finish times to meet business requirements. There may also a requirement to work at weekends on occasion.
The salary for the post will be £14.57 per hour based upon an average 22-hour week for each respective shift and applicants should state their preferred shift.
