As a Recruitment Student Assistant at Arla, you will have the opportunity to support real-time recruitment projects focused on Engineering and Supply Chain roles – building your skills in resourcing, stakeholder engagement, and recruitment delivery.

THE EMPLOYER
Arla is a farmer-owned global dairy company that aims to create the future of dairy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their dynamic Talent Acquisition team and support on high-impact resourcing projects. You will work alongside experienced TA professionals, gaining a strong understanding of recruitment within a fast-paced business setting.
Key Duties:
• Support on recruitment and resourcing projects, primarily for Engineering and Supply Chain roles.
• Understand recruitment briefs and deliver resourcing solutions using company tools.
• Assist in the sourcing, screening, and shortlisting of candidates.
• Gain exposure to various TA projects and processes.
• Develop a working knowledge of early careers recruitment and how it supports business goals.
• Potential to gradually take on more responsibilities, including aspects of recruitment partnering.
You will need:
• You must be a current university student, ideally with an interest in recruitment, supply chain, engineering, or HR.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude – someone who can take initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adapt quickly and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools.

• Highly adaptable and able to think on your feet.
• Positive and can-do mindset – willing to learn and grow.
• Collaborative, supportive, and able to build effective relationships across a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy, target-driven environment.
Relevant courses:
All courses considered. Ideally with interest or background in HR, supply chain, engineering, or related fields.

Where, when and pay?
• Location: Hybrid – Remote with in-office days (based in Leeds; 10-min bus from city centre). Office days ideally Mon–Wed.
• Part-time: Up to 16 hours per week, flexible around your study schedule.
• Start date: As soon as possible.
• Duration: Up to 12 months (Student Role)
• Pay: £12.21/hour
