Quality Engineer I – UAE Nationals OnlyKey Objectives:Responsible for leading and directing all aspects of Quality activities at site level to achieve Customers (internal and external) satisfaction by delivering superior quality products and timely service to customers.The Quality Engineer will work with cross functional groups, i.e., CS, engineering, Technical, Supplier quality, customer service, sales, marketing etc. to drive product and process improvements.Key responsibilitiesEnsuring the Quality & reliability of Components and Products being manufactured in the site through QMS systems, quality of processes and conformity to design / spec. and installation specificationsIdentifying areas of quality failures and taking steps to rectify the system wide preventive and corrective actions to avoid the reoccurrences.Ensuring the process / product as per quality standardInitiate action to resolve process and product related issues based on internal / external customers complaints and warranty returns analysis for honeywell Manufactured productsEnsure and comply with requirements QMS to ISO 9001 and IMS to ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 across META.Identify new projects / goals to team and dept. to align with company goals / AOPMonitor restricted MRB inventory and timely action with CFT by rework, repack and scrapProvide quality support to implement and enhance Honeywell best practice HMX, POKA — YOKE, Six sigma projects , quality circle projects and KaizenMinimizing rejections by monitoring adherence to process control parameters and ensuring compliance with the procedure and standards.Monitoring of site COPQ, monthly review with manufacturing team on improvement action to bring down the COPQMonitor and report Customer PPM, FPY and scrap in Team guru on weeklyCOPQ Top 10 Analysis and corrective action to minimize the rejectionsMonthly review of quality metrics and CAPA incase of negative trend against AOP TargetConduct RCA RAIL action, Poke- yoke and Kaizen review with quality teamMonitor, Report and dispose all the rejection on weekly basisMonitoring of customer complaints related to honeywell products , root-cause analysis (RCA) . CAPA implementation and review of effectivenessCarryout warranty / customer return products analysis and report to leadership team , necessary quality improvement action with manufacturing, engineering and technical teamProvide FOC repalcement as and when requiredEnd to end Tracking WRMA and achieve TAT 30days• Key skills and qualificationsBachelor s degree in electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 1-2 years experience in an industrial environment, preferably in a quality function in manufacturing Fire products, electrical product or building management industries.Good knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing and testing of wiring devices, PCB assembly, Injection Molding and metal stamping tools will be an added advantageKnowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, QS 9000/TS 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and comes with audit exposure are preferredComputer literacy is essential, must be conversant with the use of Minitab and is familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC), JIRA, and SAP transactionsFamiliar with quality management tools such as APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA, Six sigma and Problem Analysis Tools ( A3 , 8D , why , etc.Proven abilities in management of multi-disciplinary teams are also key requirements for this positionGood inter-personal skills in managing internal team and dealing with overseas quality teamProactive and high speed in following up, executing, and resolving key customer feedback issuesAbility to write and converse with confidence in English
