Job Duties

  • Space Requirement Analysis: Liaise with stakeholders to gather and analyze office space requirements, working with divisional and/or section heads to prepare staff, users, and business processes for relocation.

  • Enhancements Implementation: Identify possible enhancements to space management systems and collaborate with IT teams for implementation.

  • Space Allocation: Analyze data on office space utilization and allocate commercial spaces effectively based on availability.

  • Project Management: Prepare, monitor, and track project plans for office relocations or fit-outs, coordinating with stakeholders, user departments, and the Facility Management Projects (FMP) team.

  • Integration of Plans: Ensure compliance with space utilization standards, integrate planned and as-built layouts into the Building Information Management (BIM) databases, and manage floor plan audits with stakeholders.


Job Requirements

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing space utilization data to optimize office space allocation.

  • Project Management Experience: Proven ability to manage office relocations and large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Leadership Abilities: Capability to supervise and guide a team, ensuring high standards of service delivery and employee development.

  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with space management software and building management systems for layout optimization.

  • Data Management Skills: Strong competency in tools like Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio for creating reports and dashboards.


Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, architecture, interior design, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project management, architecture, or office space planning for a large, multi-use building complex.

  • Space Management Software: Familiarity with space management software for space planning and layout optimization (preferred).

  • Certifications: Courses or certifications in space planning, workplace strategy, or interior design (preferred).
