Job Duties

  • Lead Transformation Strategy: Shape and execute Qatar Airways’ finance transformation strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, implement innovative technologies, and improve financial reporting.

  • Process Optimization & Automation: Champion the transition to touchless Finance by optimizing processes and implementing automation solutions, ensuring high-level accuracy and efficiency in the Finance function.

  • ERP Transition Management: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ERP transition, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational priorities while identifying risks and mitigation strategies.

  • Business Process Design: Document and analyze current processes, identify opportunities for automation and standardization, and design business processes for the assigned finance stream.

  • Change Management Support: Support ERP transformation’s change management efforts by facilitating effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and the adoption of new ways of working across the organization.


Job Requirements

  • Experience in ERP Implementation: 6+ years of experience in business transformation and ERP implementation (Oracle).

  • Process Improvement Expertise: 3+ years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or a related field.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects, ensuring seamless integration of new processes.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in process mapping and process flow analysis tools.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics, with finance professional qualifications (CA, CPA/CMA).

  • Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of job-related experience with at least 6 years in business transformation and ERP implementation (Oracle).

  • Industry Knowledge: Expertise in financial processes such as “Flight to Settle”, “Ticket to Cash”, and “Record to Report”.

  • Certifications: Project management certification and Lean Six Sigma certification are preferred.
