Job Title: Principal Solutions Architect – GenAI & iXR
Job Description
Join Emirates in Dubai and help shape the future of global aviation technology. We’re looking for a Principal Solutions Architect who can lead major tech initiatives in Generative AI and Extended Reality (iXR). You’ll design smart, secure, and scalable solutions, work closely with business and tech teams, and make sure all systems follow our architecture and security standards.
This role involves building modern digital platforms using advanced tools like APIs, cloud tech, Java microservices, and automation. You’ll guide technical teams, set technology roadmaps, and partner with leading companies like AWS and Microsoft.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design and technical plans for AI and iXR platforms
Build and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant solutions
Guide solution architecture for new projects and tech upgrades
Stay updated on tech trends and bring new ideas into our platforms
Run Proof of Concepts to test and showcase business value
Advise on tech choices, costs, and delivery timelines
Help teams apply best practices and tools
Coach and support other architects and engineers
Manage architecture roadmaps, tech improvements, and quality checks
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years in IT architecture or solution design
Strong leadership in architecture teams
Broad knowledge of tech areas like Java, cloud, APIs, AI/ML, mobile, cybersecurity, DevOps, and data platforms
Experience with modern architecture styles: microservices, event-driven, cloud-native
Familiar with agile development (e.g., SCRUM, Scaled Agile) and architecture modeling (e.g., UML, C4)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Able to influence delivery teams and tech decisions
Ready to work in a fast-moving, international environment
