Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial painting, possess a strong eye for detail, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
• Surface Preparation: Clean and sand surfaces, set up scaffolding, mix materials.
• Painting: Apply primer, paint, and touch-ups.
• Gypsum Installation: Transport materials, assist in board installation, taping, and finishing.
• General Labor: Load/unload materials, clean work areas, assist skilled workers.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols and maintain tools.
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of painting/gypsum work, physically fit, and attentive to detail. No formal education required; experience is a plus.
• A physically demanding role requiring teamwork and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting techniques is a plus.
• Proven experience as a painter (residential or commercial).
• Knowledge of painting materials, techniques, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with decorative painting techniques.
• Familiarity with drywall repair and other construction skills.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
