We’re looking for a once-a-week meal prep cook. It is just my wife and I. We’re both busy executives that work heavy hours and are looking to free up some more free time on the weekends. We are health conscious and prepping high quality, healthy meals for the week is important to us. We eat very simply – clean meat, eggs, vegetables, simple carbs, and perhaps the odd ‘recipe’ (i.e., healthy stews, chilis, etc.). We do not require time intensive dishes or extravagant. My wife prefers a bit of variety but I’m happy to eat the same thing week in and week out. We’d be happy to provide recipes/meal menus for the week, and would also be happy to do the grocery shopping. We can usually take care of our breakfast for the week, so ideally we’d be looking to have 2-3 daily meals prepped for 5-6 days worth of eating. I would imagine it would be 3.5 – 5 hours of cooking/prep depending on efficiency in the kitchen, meal menu for the week, etc.
We generally both work downtown Mon-Fri, so the house and kitchen would be available during the week. Alternatively, we love to be outdoors and hike/ski/etc. so we could likely make arrangements to vacate on a Sunday afternoon as well.
