Job Description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To liaise within various Workshops and between relevant flydubai Departments to optimize the overall production of workshops, by addressing existing or potential shortfalls leading to production delays, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency in compliance with relevant regulatory and flydubai requirements to support fleet operations. Key Responsibilities Maintains and ensures adequate stock levels for relevant spares and consumables required for smooth running of aircraft component maintenance in various shops. Minimises the turnaround time (TAT) by coordinating third-party repair processes to ensure timely delivery of serviceable units, directly supporting aircraft availability and operational efficiency. Ensures accurate and complete documentation is prepared and submitted to the relevant flydubai departments for any component requiring a warranty claim. Liaises with relevant flydubai Departments by justifying the procurement of appropriate replacement item pertaining to related components. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to analyse workload requirements to justify and highlight any overtime requirements. Ensures that all spares ordered from stores are promptly routed to relevant workshops beforehand to ensure seamless production. Identifies and escalates potential shortfalls or constraints that could adversely affect production. Serves as the primary focal point towards technical queries pertaining to workshops ensuring prompt resolution. Collaborates with flydubai procurement and finance teams for timely delivery of ordered items required for component maintenance with reference to requisitions raised. Qualifications Associate Degree (2 years) Diploma in Technical Field Fluent in English Minimum 5 years experience in an aircraft maintenance or workshop environment with focus on coordination and workflow tracking. AMOS (Preferred) & MS office (Preferred) 5 – 7 years Valid UAE Driving License – Preferred COMPETENCIES Customer Focus Teamwork Effective Communication Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve Resilience & Flexibility (Can do attitude)
