Location: Muscat, Oman
Reports to: Board of Directors (via MDO)
Role Summary:
Lead the strategic and operational launch of Oman s national trading company for chromite and gypsum. Oversee commercial, financial, and governance functions while representing the company to domestic producers, international buyers, and regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the company s business strategy in alignment with Oman Minerals Trading Company’s mandate.
Build and lead a high-performing team across trading, logistics, finance, and compliance.
Establish and maintain relationships with domestic producers, international buyers, and government stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and risk management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Mining, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in mineral trading or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of establishing and growing trading operations.
Strong understanding of international trade regulations and compliance.
