Junior Food Safety Officer-Sushi Restaurant

Sushi Art Restaurant Chain in Dubai UAE is recruiting a Junior Food Safety Officer with the following:

Job Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspections of food production in Sushi Art Restaurant areas to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of food safety policies and procedures as per FSMS or ISO.
• Monitor and document food handling practices to ensure adherence to Food safety standards.
• Collect and analyze samples for microbiological and chemical food testing.
• Assist in training staff on food safety practices and protocols.
• Investigate and report on food safety incidents and non-compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions as per HACCP plan.
• Support the Senior Food Safety Officer in preparing reports and documentation for regulatory agencies.
• Stay updated on current food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Environmental Health, or a related field.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food safety, preferably within the restaurant (Sushi Art Restaurant) or hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
