JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT ( CASHIER)

Job Title: Junior Accountant / Cashier

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Junior Accountant / Cashier to manage daily cash transactions, assist in maintaining accurate financial records, and support general accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and excellent numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:Cashier Duties:
• Handle daily cash, credit card, and cheque transactions.
• Issue receipts and reconcile cash at the end of each shift.
• Maintain an accurate cash register and ensure proper balancing.
• Prepare and deposit daily cash collections to the bank.
• Maintain petty cash and ensure proper documentation of disbursements.

Accounting Duties:
• Record daily financial transactions into accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Prepare simple financial reports and summaries.
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers.
• File and maintain accounting documents and records.

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 – AED1,700.00 per month
