Job description
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Urban area. Manufacture. Tasks: Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications. Computer-aided design (CAD). Estimate costs and materials. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Prepare contracts and tenders. Prepare standards and schedules. Test machines and equipment. Supervision: 3-4 people. Area of specialization: Machinery and components. Refrigeration. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle. Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Willing to travel cross-border. Willing to travel internationally. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail.
