Pay Rate: £35 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Hybrid – In-office presence required based on service needs

Job Summary:
Hull City Council is currently looking for a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Children with Disabilities Team. This role offers the opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs and disabilities, providing tailored support and safeguarding services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Carry out statutory assessments and reviews for children with disabilities
• Develop and implement Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Looked After Children (LAC) plans
• Work in partnership with families, schools, health professionals, and support services
• Plan and deliver bespoke care packages and short breaks
• Ensure services are delivered in a child-focused, strengths-based manner
• Maintain accurate and timely case records
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Social Work England registration (required)
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience, ideally within Children’s Services
• Proven experience working with children with disabilities and complex needs
• Solid understanding of safeguarding procedures and legislative frameworks
• Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills
