The Class Teacher is a member of the academic team whose main responsibility is ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning in multiple subjects and fostering a positive learning environment where very evident progress is made and where levels of attainment are above curriculum standards in all subjects taught. The position is also very much focused on ensuring students are engaged, inquiring, independent, and knowledgeable learners. Key areas of responsibility also include analysis of assessment data. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education BEd Primary EducationBA Early Years Education or BSc Early ChildhoodValid Teaching License in Early Childhood or Primary EducationAdditional QualificationAll successful candidates who have completed their education in a language other than English need a minimum equivalent of IELTS 5.5 if teaching non-core subjects in English, IELTS 6 if teaching core subjects in English, and IELTS 7 if teaching English as a subject. Advanced proficiency in the language applied in the curriculum of the school if the language of instruction is not English.
