Key Responsibilities:
• IT Strategy Development and Execution: Collaborate with executive teams to develop, implement, and oversee long-term IT strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.
• Technology Leadership: Provide leadership in all aspects of the company’s information technology, ensuring systems and processes support business objectives.
• Digital Transformation: Lead initiatives to modernize IT infrastructure, implement new technologies, and drive digital innovation.
• Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Develop and enforce policies to protect the company’s data and IT assets from internal and external threats.
• Vendor and Partnership Management: Identify and manage relationships with key technology vendors and partners to enhance the company’s capabilities.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor IT teams, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage IT budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure all IT operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Business Continuity Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard company operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board of directors, providing regular updates and insights on the company’s technological direction.

Qualifications:
• Extensive IT Leadership Experience: 7+ years of experience, including in a CIO role, IT consultancy, or similar leadership position within the technology space.
• Proven Remote Work Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, utilizing tools such as Slack, Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
• Strategic Vision: Strong ability to develop and execute long-term IT strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Experience in leading cross-functional teams, with a focus on aligning all technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
• Change Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage technological change effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify challenges, assess potential solutions, and implement effective strategies.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or industry-specific regulations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
