Female Psychologist (Part-Time)

Overview
Duties & Responsibilities

• Creates methods to assess and record the baseline psychological health of each student in the school and other assigned facilities when called upon.
• Develop a plan to assess the improvement or deterioration of the psychological condition of each student after specific intervals of time.
• Provides a treatment plan for each student with psychological/behavioral problems
• Trains schools’ staff in the day-to-day treatment of troubled students.
• Develop and provides remedies for different types of students’ mental status.
• Meets bi-monthly with the office staff to discuss the progress of students, do an in-depth analysis of a specific case, and review current literature on student psychology.
• Be available for consultations when serious behavior problems arise.
• Hold awareness events with school teachers and students (if required).
• Talks to the parents of students for further efficiency of counseling (if required).
• Maintains the database portion devoted to the mental health of each student.
• Informs the office staff of any emergency situation or any particular incident.
• Provide Reports to the office on different bases.
• Keeps the privacy of the office contract.
• Maintains punctuality and regular presence, in case of absentees, she should provide prior reasonable notice at least two days in advance
• Able to work overtime on weekends or holidays (if required by the office team)
• Able to attend office meetings
• Able to adapt to larger tasks not specified in this framework.
• Able to do any given tasks by the office

Job Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or related fields.
• Have at least 3 years of work experience in counseling or psychology, preferably with students.
• Able to communicate effectively and maintain the privacy of students.
• Be able to provide detailed reports and documentation.

Note:

priority will be given to those with prior experience working at a school environment.
