Job Description: Junior Accountant / GL Department
Your new key responsibilities:
1-Maintain and update the general ledger, including posting journal entries and ensuring accuracy of all financial transactions.
2- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
3- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, which include prepaid expenses, provisions and other closing requirements.
4- Provide support in the budgeting process, including assisting in the preparation and analysis of budgets.
5- Support VAT and corporate tax compliance by ensuring accurate recording and reporting of transactions, and assisting with tax filings and audits.
6- Manage fixed asset records, including tracking asset purchases, recording costs, and calculating depreciation.
7-Reconcile the accounts of internal and external related parties on a monthly basis, communicate with accountants and settle accounts.
9- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting information.
10-Assist Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
11- Support and assist in agencies and JV working.
