Job Title: Factory Manager – Plastic Can Manufacturing (Lubricants Packaging)
Location: Ajman , UAE
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Reports To: General Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Factory Manager to lead the operations of our plastic can manufacturing unit, which supplies packaging for our lubricants production line. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plastic injection/blow molding, preferably with experience with reputed plastic manufacturers . This role requires both operational oversight and strategic input to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and ensure consistent quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the plastic can production unit (primarily blow molding/injection molding).
Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and shift management to meet output targets.
Ensure timely supply of plastic cans to the lubricants production team with zero disruptions.
Lead a team of supervisors, machine operators, and maintenance staff.
Monitor production KPIs – machine efficiency, rejection rates, downtime, etc.
Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet product specifications.
Ensure proper preventive maintenance and reduce machine breakdowns.
Drive cost-efficiency initiatives and optimize raw material usage.
Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Liaise with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and stock levels.
Troubleshoot technical issues with machines, molds, or output quality.
Train and upskill the shop-floor team for improved performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in plastic molding manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
Strong experience with blow molding, injection molding, and related plant machinery.
Familiarity with packaging standards for lubricants or FMCG will be a strong advantage.
Proficiency in production management software/ERP.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Hands-on approach with a strong focus on efficiency and quality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED8,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
• plastic molding manufacturing: 7 years (Preferred)
• managerial/supervisory role.: 3 years (Preferred)
