The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing facility to ensure efficient production, quality assurance, cost control, and compliance with safety standards. This role is critical in meeting production targets and supporting the company’s growth and expansion strategies. Production Planning & ExecutionDevelop and implement weekly/monthly production plans in alignment with sales forecasts and project schedules.Allocate resources effectively to meet production KPIs in terms of quality, quantity, cost, and time.Monitor and optimize machine utilization and labor productivity.Operational ManagementEnsure smooth execution of custom and standard furniture manufacturing, joinery, and fit-out components.Coordinate procurement of raw materials and ensure adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.Supervise installation preparation and support logistics coordination.Quality & Process ControlImplement and maintain quality control procedures across all production processes.Work with QA/QC to address any defects, rework issues, and ensure adherence to specifications and standards.Drive continuous process improvement initiatives (e.g., lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen). Team ManagementManage and lead a team of laborers, supervisors, and machine operators.Set KPIs for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.Oversee training and development of factory staff to build skills and maintain high morale.Machine & Asset MaintenanceCoordinate preventive maintenance schedules for key machinery (edge banding, CNC, joinery machines).Minimize machine downtime through proper maintenance and timely repairs. Health, Safety, and ComplianceEnforce factory safety protocols in accordance with UAE labor and environmental laws.Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.Reporting & CommunicationProvide weekly/monthly reports on production performance, labor utilization, and cost efficiency.Communicate effectively with other departments including Sales, Procurement, and Logistics.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.Minimum 2–4 years of experience in factory or production management in the furniture, joinery, or fit-out industry.Experience with UAE labor and HSE regulations preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of furniture production machinery and processes (CNC, edge banding, carpentry, etc.).Excellent planning and organizational skills.Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-shift operations.ERP or factory management system proficiency is a plus.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.LanguagesProficient in English (spoken and written). Arabic or Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
