Job Title: Rail Systems Engineer Job Description

We are hiring a skilled Rail Systems Engineer to join a major transport project. In this role, you will review, verify, and coordinate rail system designs and interfaces, ensuring everything works together smoothly and meets RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) expectations.

You’ll work with multiple disciplines to make sure the systems are safe, reliable, and fully integrated. A deep understanding of rail standards, system interfaces, and international best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Review rail system interface documents and technical designs

• Ensure contractor compliance with system design and integration standards

• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless project delivery

• Resolve technical issues and support cross-functional collaboration

• Align systems and designs with both international and RTA-specific standards

Requirements

• Experience: 15+ years in rail systems design and integration

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control, or Rail Systems Engineering

• Certifications: INCOSE preferred; PMP is a plus

• Technical Knowledge: Familiar with IEEE 1474.1, EN 50126, ISO 9001, and local RTA regulations

• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
