Job Description:Manor Hall International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students can explore literature, improve writing abilities, and develop critical thinking skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons that align with the U.S. curriculum. Focus on developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Encourage a love of literature and help students analyze texts critically. Create differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students in the classroom. Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and exams and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student performance and progress. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in English, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification (or equivalent). Previous experience teaching English to middle school students, ideally following the U.S. curriculum. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students. Passion for literature and teaching with the ability to inspire students to develop their reading and writing skills.
