Position Overview: The American International School in Abu Dhabi is seeking a passionate and experienced Elementary Arabic Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Arabic language lessons to elementary students. This role requires a deep understanding of Arabic language and culture, along with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Arabic language curriculum and meet the educational needs of elementary students.
• Engaging Instruction: Create interactive and engaging classroom activities that promote the development of Arabic language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student progress through a variety of methods, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to support student growth.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and active learning.
• Cultural Awareness: Promote an appreciation for Arabic culture and heritage among students and integrate local traditions and values into the curriculum.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and enhance teaching skills.
• Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student learning and contribute to the overall school community.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Arabic Language, or a related field. A teaching certification or license is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Language Skills: Native or near-native fluency in Arabic. Proficiency in English is also required.
• Cultural Competence: Strong understanding and appreciation of Arabic culture and traditions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Technology Proficiency: Competence in using educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences.
