Job summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, with at least 8-10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or production environments. Experience in vehicle electrical systems (e.g., specialist vehicles, mobile units, or automotive wiring) is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and production lines.
• Carry out wiring, termination, and panel building work as needed.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and electrical standards.
• Support production with rapid electrical repairs to reduce downtime.
• Perform periodic inspections and preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment.
• Assist in electrical work related to specialist or vehicle-based installations (preferred).
Requirements
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control circuits, and motors.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation or maintenance (or recognized international equivalent).
• ECS/CSCS card (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with vehicle or mobile electrical systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
