Sort and classify diamonds based on predefined grading standards.Examine diamonds under magnification to determine clarity, color, cut, and carat weight.Identify inclusions, blemishes, and other quality factors affecting diamond value.Ensure proper handling and security of diamonds during the sorting process.Maintain detailed records of sorted diamonds, including weight and quality grades.Collaborate with the quality control and production teams to ensure diamonds meet the required specifications.Adhere to company policies and industry standards for diamond grading and handling. Previous experience as a Diamond Assorter or in a similar role within the diamond industry.In-depth knowledge of diamond grading, including 4Cs (Carat, Cut, Clarity, Color).Familiarity with diamond sorting tools and equipment, such as loupes, microscopes, and sieves.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in grading.Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.Integrity and commitment to confidentiality in handling valuable materials.
