Job Description
Beinex is seeking a Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in the Middle East. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience in data science roles and proficiency in both Arabic and English languages. This is a hands-on role where it is expected the candidate will be able to work on open source and other tech stack.
Responsibilities
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify valuable data sources and streamline collection processes.
• Conducting preprocessing of structured and unstructured data for analysis.
• Analyzing data sets to identify trends and patterns that provide actionable insights for business improvement.
• Developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
• Utilizing data visualisation techniques to present findings effectively.
• Proposing innovative solutions to address business challenges.
• Working closely with engineering and product development teams to integrate data-driven insights into product offerings.
• Utilize proficiency in Arabic and English to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Employ statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse data and derive meaningful insights.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business decision-making.
• Utilize data visualisation tools to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven initiatives and solutions.
Key Skills Requirements
• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/ Data Science or any relevant stream (but not mandatory)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science roles.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau/Power-BI
• Experience with distributed data computing tools like Hadoop, Spark, etc. is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Knowledge of Arabic-speaking markets and cultural nuances is preferred but not mandatory.
