Data & Sales Analyst – Agri Commodity Trade (Rice, Edible Oil, Oil Seeds, Spices)Region Scope: Middle East, North Africa, East Africa, and EuropeAbout the Role:We are looking for a highly analytical and results-driven Data Analyst to strengthen our commodity trading team, specializing in rice, edible oil, and other related products.The role involves supporting trading decisions through deep data insights on market trends, pricing, supply-demand dynamics, and trade performance.He will work closely with traders, origin team, and Global Research Team to optimize trade data and manage critical info regarding S&D.Key Responsibilities:Market Analysis: Monitor global and regional trends in rice, edible oil, and related products, including crop forecasts, weather patterns, trade policies, and pricing benchmarks.Trade Flow: Analyse historical and real-time trade flow data. Deep dive into market-by-market data and get critical information regarding the Buyers, Cyclicality of their buying patterns, Stock build up in the destination market etcAnalyse and Prepare Lead data based on macro and micro data.Supply Chain Intelligence: Track vessel movement, inventory levels, logistics bottlenecks, and destination market demand for optimized shipping and procurement decisions.Market Intelligence Gathering: Consolidate intelligence from multiple sources cargo reports, customs data, and brokers — into actionable insights.Key Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Agribusiness, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.Total 7-8 years of work experience – with demonstrated ability of working with large, unstructured datasets and turning them into strategic business insights.2+ years of experience in commodity trading analytics, preferably in agricultural commodities (grains, oils, seeds) would be preferredGood understanding of Agri-commodity markets, crop cycles, shipping and logistics, and global trade flows.Critical thinking, and effective communication skills.Interested candidates can apply through naukri portal or can DM on 8454061189.
