Commercial Driver (4-Number License)

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver with a 4-number UAE driving license to operate large vehicles such as buses or trucks in compliance with all relevant safety and traffic regulations. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods, passengers, or materials to and from various locations safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Large Vehicles: Safely drive buses, trucks, or other heavy-duty vehicles with a 4-number license across different routes in the UAE.
• Passenger/Customer Service: Provide excellent service to passengers, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey.
• Route Management: Plan and follow the designated routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and maintaining punctuality.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after trips, ensuring that the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to all road safety rules, traffic regulations, and company policies.
• Documentation: Maintain and complete necessary documentation such as trip reports, vehicle inspection logs, and fuel records.
• Communication: Report any issues or accidents to the supervisor or relevant authorities in a timely manner.
• Safety First: Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo during transit by following all safety protocols and driving practices.
• Loading/Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods or passengers, if required.

Qualifications:

• Valid UAE Commercial Driver’s License (4-number license for buses, trucks, or other heavy vehicles).
• Proven experience as a commercial driver (min. 2 years).
• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations in the UAE.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good knowledge of the UAE roads and geography.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with passengers and colleagues.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
