With our continuing commitment to growth, we are seeking to an enthusiastic Cleaner to join our wonderful team of cleaning operatives on a permanent part-time basis. Our cleaners are gems, they are key to providing safe, clean work environments with reliability, great time management and attention to detail.
Our hours for this position will be Monday to Friday from6.00am to 10.00am each morning, 20 hours per week. Please note that we may also request for you to cover the occasional weekend shift (annual leave cover).
Our Position
As a detail-oriented, well-presented and commercially experienced Cleaning Operative, you will contribute to the daily cleanliness and overall maintenance of four floors within the Laings Head Office and the premises across two closely located Stores.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Perform general cleaning duties to maintain clean and clear office spaces and store areas, including all surfaces (desks and worktops), floor areas, stairs, lobby, and lift areas.
·Maintain cleanliness of our exterior entrances to our Head Office building.
·Cleaning and sanitizing our kitchens and restrooms, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
·Ensuring waste collections are disposed of daily and remain vigilant with recycling.
·Assist with cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
·Conduct weekly cleaning of our main refrigerator.
·Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and re-ordering of cleaning products is conducted via our Head Office Administration team as required.
·Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly.
·Collaborate with our cleaning team colleagues to achieve cleanliness goals.
Key requirements:
·1-year previous commercial cleaning experience.
·All applicants must be prepared to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Check.
·You will be flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude.
·Hold strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
·Good communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently and efficiently. Always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
