Civil Drafter

Job Summary:

A civil drafter is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They work closely with engineers and surveyors to ensure that construction projects are executed according to plan.

Responsibilities:

Create detailed technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects
Work closely with engineers and surveyors to ensure accuracy and consistency in project plans
Use CAD software to produce 2D and 3D drawings
Review and modify drawings as required to meet project specifications and standards
Create and maintain project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications
Collaborate with project team members to identify and address potential design or construction issues

Qualifications:

Associate degree, diploma, or higher in drafting, engineering, or related field
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit, Archicad
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices

Experience

Minimum 5 years in the same field
