Children’s SW – Fostering Team – Hull

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Hull. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and services to children and families involved in the fostering process.

Key responsibilities and duties include:
• Assessing and reviewing the needs of children in foster care
• Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the well-being and safety of children
• Working collaboratively with foster carers, families, and other professionals to provide holistic support
• Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required
• Advocating for the best interests of children and promoting their rights

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
• Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration
• Experience working within a children’s social work setting, preferably within fostering or looked after children services
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload

Additional requirements for this role may include a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for travel within the local area.
